Wood grouse

A bird commonly found in fir and Spanish pine forests. The majority of its population in Catalonia can be found in Lleida province, and particularly in the Val d'Aran and L'Alta Cerdanya. The population has recently suffered a marked decline, with losses of up to 50% in some areas.
