Red-rumped swallow

The species has experienced a rapid expansion of its area of distribution in recent decades. The very small Western Catalonia populations of twenty years ago are now connected to those in the rest of Catalonia and, with the exception of the Pyrenees, they are now nesting almost everywhere.
