Greater short-toed lark

A large part of its population in Catalonia can be found on the Lleida plain, associated with wasteland, fallow land, and steppe-like drylands. However, this is a relatively rare species and one that can only be considered abundant in the thyme fields of Alfés and the drylands of Algerri-Balaguer. Although the population seems to have remained stable, its distribution has become increasingly restricted in recent decades.
